Squint Preparing New Releases

2001-12-25 - Squint Entertainment, as a component in Warner Music Group's recently announced purchase of Word Entertainment, is preparing for several significant artist releases and even greater successes in 2002 under the new parent company. Founded in 1997, Squint Entertainment boasts an impressive artist roster including Sixpence None the Richer, Burlap to Cashmere, LA Symphony and Waterdeep. With a long-awaited studio project from hugely successful, Platinum-selling Sixpence (June), and the sophomore release from critic and fan favorite Burlap (date unknown) both slated for 2002 among other new releases (debut group 38th Parallel in April, Souljahz in June, and Adore in July), the label is expecting its most successful year.
