Biggest European Festival Kicks Off Today

2003-08-14 - Flevo Festival, Europe's biggest festival, kicks off today. About 10,000 visitors are expected on the 4-day event. The festival which is located in Liempde, Holland has a solid fanbase in North-West Europe. The people are entertained by 40 local and international bands including All Star United, Audio Adrenaline, Christafari, Andrew Peterson, Verbs, Trin-I-Tee 5:7, East West, Jeni Varnadeau, DJ Phat B, Andy Hunter, and Papa San. The Prayer Chain will be at Flevo as well, as part of their reunion tour. Two promising UK newcomers from Delirious' Fierce label, Superhero and Cathy Burton, are getting ready to debut at Flevo.
