The Bleach Family Tragedy

2003-07-31 - From the Bleach newsletter: It's a sad time in the lives of the Bleach family. On Wednesday, July 23rd, Captain Josh Byers was killed while serving our country in Iraq. Josh was the eldest brother of Jared and Milam Byers (drums and guitar). Josh was a family man that lived his life with honor and integrity. He died serving our God and our country. Josh was a true HERO. The family is asking for your prayers. Milam and Jared will be off the road for awhile, spending time with family. Bleach will continue during that time, playing special acoustic shows of some of their more mellow tunes in honor of Josh at some shows, and friends filling in at others.
