So Far From Home Review
Brave Saint Saturn is supposed to be a darker,
edgier band than Five Iron Frenzy, from which several of
the members hail. And yet, "So Far From Home" does
not seem to maintain this darker, edgier style entirely.
Some songs are quite off-the-wall, which in itself isn't
a bad thing, but simply unexpected on a supposedly more mature
project. In the end, though, the CD finds its greatest voice
in such songs as "Fireworks," "Under Bridges," "Two
Twenty-Nine," and "Gloria."
