Addicted To Jesus Review

Without a doubt, Carman is one of the most prolific Christian wirters/singers in the business today (not to mention one of the most active). This early 90s release was one of the first studio recorded albums that Carman ever did (most of his previous albums were recorded live).

There is nary a bad song in this album. One of Carman's styles has been to get across the message of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in music that gets us up and moving around. "Holy Ghost Hop" and "Addicted to Jesus" (with DC Talk) are two such songs. Carman is also one of the best in telling stories through fun, off-the-wall songs such as "Satan, Bite the Dust!" (if you have never heard that one, it's worth the price of the CD alone).

If you have never heard any of Carman's songs before (or have only heard his late 90s / early 00s releases), then this album will take some getting used to for you. But if you are an older Carman fan, then this album is a definite must.
