Chris Tomlin Receives Best New Song Award

2003-03-08 - Worship Leader Magazine recently named Chris Tomlin's song 'Enough' as the 'Best New Song' in their 2002 Praise Awards. Tomlin says he received inspiration for 'Enough' from Passion founder/director Louie Giglio. 'Louie slipped me a page from his journal, with the idea that God is more awesome than anything we've ever known,' says Tomlin. 'His scribbled page started with these words, 'All of you is more than enough for all of me, for every thirst and every need.' I simply took it from there.' Tomlin recently helped to found Austin Stone Community Church in Austin, TX, and serves as lead worshipper for the church. Throughout March, Tomlin is on the iWorship tour.
