Time To Believe Review
For whatever reason, Christian radio stations
do not often play old Clay Crosse songs. This is really a
shame, because his music is introspective, soothing, and
very, very good.
The songs on this album can be broken
down into two main themes. The first theme is about God's
love ("His Love's
Comin Over Me," "His Love is Strong," "Love
From the Sweetest Cup," and "God is Love").
The second theme is about our love for God ("I Found
Myself in You," "I Turn to You," and "Given
My Love"). These two themes compliment each other very
well, since our love for God comes from God's love for us.
As good as all the songs are in this
album, I do have two favorites. "Time To Believe" is
a reminder that when we are going through a difficult time,
when there doesn't appear to be any way out for us, it
is time to believe in the One who loves us. We often try
to find our own way out of our problems, and this song
reminds us that we don't have to. We just have to believe.
My favorite song is "The Rock (That Was Rolled Away)." This
song is a reminder that we need to make Jesus Christ the
cornerstone of our faith.
This is a great album to buy and enjoy for years to come.
