David Crowder Band's Illuminate Debuts at #1

2003-10-01 - David Crowder Band garners the #1 position for the first time ever this week on the SoundScan Christian Retail chart. The band's critically acclaimed sophomore recording, Illuminate, released September 16 and scanned 13,935 units in its first week at retail, more than doubling the record-breaking debut of the band's freshman project, Can You Hear Us? The band's fan favorite, 'Our Love Is Loud,' featured on WOW Worship Yellow, also lands at #4 on the chart, while the band's live versions of 'Stars' and 'O Praise Him (All This For A King)' are on Passion's Sacred Revolution: Songs From OneDay03, which is currently #8 on the chart and has remained among the top 10 since its August 19 debut.
