Guitar Named After David Crowder

2003-07-29 - The David Crowder Band is honored as premiere guitar maker Tom Anderson names his latest guitar after David Crowder. The guitar is called the 'Crowdster Acoustic,' and it's not a revamped electric guitar but an all acoustic-feeling instrument. Crowder comments, 'Somehow it resonates more and I don't have to meddle with the EQ. The guitar simply sounds and plays amazingly.' A fan of Crowder's music, Anderson presented Crowder with the prototype prior to a Los Angeles concert. Crowder uses the guitar today on the road and in the studio to record his sophomore sixsteps/Sparrow Records album, Illuminate, which is set to release Sept. 16.
