Jaci Velasquez Branches Out on New Disc, 'Beauty Has Grace'

Multi-platinum recording artist Jaci Velasquez is set to release her new Warner Brothers/Word/Curb record titled Beauty Has Grace on May 3rd. Velasquez blossoms with a new sound on Beauty Has Grace with the help of London based producer Martin Terefe.

Terefe, known for his work with Coldplay, Ron Sexsmith, The Flaming Lips and others, brings a new flare of BRIT Rock to the raspy honey flow of Velasquez’s voice. This also came into play with the writing of the record where Jaci showcases a lot of her own songwriting talents. “ I want people to see the side of me that represents the kind of music that I like to hear and I wanted to translate this into positive music for all of my fans and hopefully gain some new fans!” states Velasquez.

Velasquez is also celebrating her 10th anniversary in the entertainment business this year. Many accolades can be acknowledged from her career including nine albums (four Spanish and five English) – three of which went Platinum; 16 #1 singles; a Simon & Schuster book titled A Heavenly Place; 20th Century Fox Theatrical release; TV appearances including CBS’ All-American Thanksgiving Day Parade and Hollywood Squares as well as multiple GRAMMY nominations, a Billboard Award for Latin Pop Album Of The Year (Female) for her 2003 Spanish album titled Milagro; American Music Award Nomination for “Favorite Latin Artist,” numerous Dove Awards and more.
