Jaci Velasquez Working On New Release

2003-01-03 - Jaci Velásquez co-wrote seven of the 12 songs included on her upcoming musical offering 'Unspoken.' 'These songs reveal things I've always felt, but never have been able to come out and say,' reflects the 22-year-old Velásquez. 'This album really is all about those emotions and ideas that have been left unspoken till now. Being able to record songs that I've actually written myself makes it all the more important to me.' Unspoken, recorded in Nashville, Los Angeles and Miami, boasts a high-profile lineup of producers including Matthew Gerrard (Nick Carter, Plus One), Tommy Sims (Eric Clapton, Amy Grant), and Emilio Estefan (Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin). Velásquez herself also produced one cut, 'Your Friend,' along with her band members.
