2003-01-19 - Gotee recording artist Jeff Deyo and his wife, Martha, closed out 2002 with the birth of their first child, and the worship leader opened the new year by claiming Christian music's first #1 pop single. The proud parents welcomed their son, Roman Jeffrey Deyo, on Dec 18. He weighed in at 4 1/2 pounds and 17 inches, and is now home, healthy and 'growing strong.' The new issue of R&R Magazine (dated January 10) features 2003's first Christian CHR chart and Deyo's 'More Love, More Power' replaced Sixpence None the Richer at #1. Jeff will return to the studio next month to begin pre-production on his sophomore album.
