Joy Williams Garners Third Consecutive "Female Artist Of The Year" Dove Nomination

artist Joy Williams was nominated again for coveted “Female Artist of the
Year” by the members of the Gospel Music Association
(GMA).
This is the third year in a row Williams
has received this nomination. She has received five nominations
since 2002 when she was nominated for “New Artist
of the Year.”
Williams recently signed to veteran
management company Blanton Harrell Cooke & Corzine (Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith,
Bebo Norman). She is set to release a new album titled Genesis
on May 3, 2005. The single “Hide” adds March
25 to radio formats.
Joy Williams launched her career as
a songwriter and vocalist at 17. Her albums released to
date include 2001’s Joy
Williams and 2002’s By Surprise which included the
No. 1 single “Every Moment.” In 2002 she was
voted “Best New Artist” in CCM Magazine’s
