Jake And Matt Brouwer Nominated For Vibe Awards

2002-04-23 - Jake and Matt Brouwer were nominated for multiple Vibe Awards in the 1st Annual Canadian Gospel People's Choice Awards. The awards will be presented on May 11 at the Telus Convention Centre in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Canadian brother trio Jake is nominated for Group of the Year, Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for 'Believer' (written by Toby Penner and Eldon Winter). Jake's 2001 self-titled debut album is nominated for Contemporary/Pop Album of the Year. Matt Brouwer is nominated in five of the eight categories including Artist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Brouwer's 2001 debut, Imagerical, is nominated for both Contemporary/Pop Album and Worship Album of the Year, while his hit single, 'Water,' is among the 10 selections vying for Song of the Year honors.
