2003 Grammy Nominations Announced

2003-01-06 - While it probably comes as no surprise that Eminem yielded the most Grammy nods following the success of his chart-topping album The Eminem Show, there were a few surprises in the Christian music nominations for the 45th annual Grammy Awards which will be held Feb 23. The nominees for Best Rock Album: Lift (Audio Adrenaline), The Art of Translation (GRITS), The Way I Am (Jennifer Knapp), Come Together (Third Day), Momentum (TobyMac). For Best Pop/Contemporary Album: New Map of the World (Paul Colman Trio), The Eleventh Hour (Jars of Clay), The Christmas Shoes (NewSong), The Heart of Me (Kathy Troccoli), See the Light (True Vibe). P.O.D. was also nominated for 'Best Hard Rock Performance' and 'Best Metal Performance.'
