Nordeman Discusses New Album, Brave, In Stores 5/24

Nichole Nordeman, a top 2003 Dove Award winner (Female Vocalist, Songwriter, Song, Pop Album), is set to return with her first all-new studio album in nearly three years, BRAVE, in stores everywhere May 24, 2005. In a new interview she begins to reveal key details of the long-anticipated project.

“I worked with a (producer/musician) named Jay Joyce (Patty Griffin, The Wallflowers) who is insanely talented. But he insisted that I bravely speak into the direction of these songs,” Nichole says. “It felt really wonderful to build these songs from the ground up. I think that we covered some fresh musical ground, without giving anybody whiplash. I grew up a lot. So did my songs. So did the production.”
