Pee Wee Callins Meets With Out Of Eden
Newcomer Pee Wee Callins
recently ran into Out of Eden while visiting in Nashville,
Tenn. The R&B
crooner has been greatly influenced by the trio. "Most
of my career, I sang traditional black gospel," Callins
explains. "But it wasn't until I listened to Out of
Eden's last album that I felt the urge to broaden my singing
experiences."
Pee Wee's debut solo album - Street Soul, which released
on April 19, showcases his many influences by blending smart
infusions of hip-hop, pop, soul, rock, gospel, as well as
taking the listener on sunny excursions to the land of '70s
radio.
"Pee Wee Callins has one hot CD on his hands," said
Out of Eden¹s Lisa Kimmey. "I believe that he will
be a huge influence on other artists and make a big impact
in this industry."
Street Soul is available on Beatmart Recordings and is distributed
by Word Distribution.
