Petra To Perform In Puerto Rico

2002-03-30 - April 6 will bring legendary Christian rock band Petra back to Puerto Rico as part of their current Revival Tour. The last time that Petra visited beautiful Puerto Rico was for the first ever 'The Rock' Summer Festival in June of 1997 where nearly 10,000 people witnessed their stage presence and electrifying show. Petra's line up at that moment was formed of Pete Orta (now a solo artist) on guitars and vocals, Lonnie Chapin (now with the band Tait) on the bass guitar and vocals and Kevin Brandow on keyboards, guitars and vocals along with veterans John Schlitt and Louie Weaver. Now Petra is back with their Revival and they will try and make that revival contagious througout the Caribbean when they perform in front of thousands in San Juan of Puerto Rico. Along with Petra, local bands Profecía (Prophecy), Skaterrestres (Skaterrestrials), and Aprobado (Approved) will also perform.
