Sandtown To Be Featured On Cover Of U Magazine

2003-03-05 - U Magazine, CCM's urban publication, continues to grow in reach and popularity. The May issue is slated to be the biggest issue yet! The cover story will focus on Sandtown, the amazing children's group that performs slamming modern urban music. They have recently signed with Gotee Records, after wowing Nashville industry insiders at a showcase last year. The hip hop/pop/gospel choir is comprised of children from Baltimore's famed Sandtown community - an innovative and inspiring inner city neighborhood. Sandtown's Gotee debut, Based On A True Story, will hit stores in May. Also featured in the May issue of U Magazine will be Stacie Orrico, Darwin Hobs and Byron Cage, among others.
