Michael W. Smith Tours Europe This Summer With Shaun Groves

2003-06-03 - Michael W. Smith is preparing for a two-week European tour, kicking off June 5 in Herning, Denmark. Of significance is that Michael is scheduled for the closing performance at the biggest event in Dutch Gospel history, EO Youth Day. Taking place June 14 at Gelredone Stadium, this year's EO Youth Day event will host an audience of more than 50,000. Upon returning home, Smith heads into the studio to put the finishing touches on The Second Decade, his October 7 best-of release featuring hits from albums spanning the last ten years of his career plus two new songs. Rocketown artist Shaun Groves will open for Michael on nine dates, including EO Youth Day, promoting his August 5 sophomore release Twilight.
