Ghosts Review

Listened to just a few soundclips of this cd in the store and knew instantly that I was going to love this. Since buying this cd I haven't been able to get enough of it. This is one of those albums you cannot possibly be dissapointed with, its just too good. Every song on this album is amazing as well as addicting.

The songs are beautiful beyond all words, melodic guitars layered with strings and keyboards to give it a lush atmospheric sound. Ryan O'Neal's vocals power the songs to soaring heights,
always leading to a killer chorus. The lyrics don't whine about everything, instead they give a sense of hope. Do yourself a huge favor and buy Ghosts, your ears will thank me as soon as you do.

Suprisingly there are only three guys in this band, from the sounds of it you would think there were four or five guys. Each member is extremly talented, as you can tell by listening to the musicianship. I had the chance to meet them the last time they played here in Seattle, they were all extremely nice and thankful for their fans. They deserve all the support they can get.

This is by far one of the best albums I've bought this year. Probably one of the most gorgeous albums I've ever heard. Highly recommended for fans of Remy Zero, U2, As Tall As Lions, Coldplay, Radiohead (Bends and OK era), Sunny Day Real Estate, The Fire Theft, or just good music in general. Also if you already have Sleeping At Last, DEFINATELY check out This Holiday Life, you'll know what I'm talking about when you hear them.
