New Sparrow Band Starfield Debuts May 18

2004-05-18 - Award-winning Sparrow Records band Starfield makes its self-titled US debut May 18. Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and fronted by brothers Tim and Jon Neufeld, Starfield is already one of the most awarded indie bands in Canada. The music of harmony-driven rock/worship band Starfield has been nominated for a Juno Award (Canada's GRAMMY Award), and the group won five Vibe Awards (Canada's Dove Award equivalent) in 2003. Preparing to springboard from its success in the indie market, the band was pursued by numerous mainstream and Christian record labels. After choosing Sparrow Records, Starfield teamed with producer Matt Bronlewee (Natalie Imbruglia, Jars of Clay) to record their debut.
