More Details About Stryper's New Songs

2003-01-26 - Michael Sweet has updated his website with news about the new songs Stryper recorded at the beginning of January, for the new best of Stryper album which should be out in the Spring of 2003. Michael Sweet wrote: 'This time around there will be a total of 18 songs on the new project (16 old and two new). It will take everyone on a ride from present to past as the sequence goes from newest (two new songs) to oldest ('Yellow' and 'Black Attack'). The two new songs are entitled 'Something' and 'For You' and have a very modern day Stryper sound. We prayed for God to anoint every note and believe that He did! All of the old material will be digitally re-mastered / eq'd to add a little more punch and a little more definition where it lacks. We will post the lyrics as well as samples of the songs as soon as the label gives us the okay.'
