2002-01-08 - U2 lead the nominations with eight nods (e.g. Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year and Song Of The Year, Best Rock Song). Alive from P.O.D. is nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance. The nominees in the CCM categories are Big Tent Revival Live (BTR), Flap Your Wings (The Choir), Solo (DC Talk), Sonicpraise (Sonicflood) and The Last Street Preacha (T-Bone) for Best Rock Gospel Album. For Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel the nominees are Oxygen (Avalon), Declaration (Steven Curtis Chapman), Talk About It (Nicole C. Mullen), Worship (Michael W. Smith) and CeCe Winans (CeCe Winans). In the Best Latin Pop Album category, Mi Corazon by Jaci Velasquez is nominated. Best Contemporary Folk Album nominees include Buddy & Julie Miller (Buddy & Julie Miller).
