Truth, Soul, Rock & Roll Review
This incredible second album builds up and
improves on the distinctive foundations laid by the bands
debut recording 'Big Surprise'.
The variety of pace and theme throughout keeps you hooked
from the catchy, powerful riff that kicks off 'Speaking in
Tongues' to the beautifully delicate 'Smile at life again'.
The balance between the mellow and the more upbeat tracks
is perfect, with more of the latter being included than in
the previous album. This for me gives 'Truth, soul, rock
and roll' the edge.
The songs are filled with emotion and the lyrics are hopeful,
talking of life in Christ. Owen Thomas' vocals are soulful
and span from raw and powerful to very tender.
This album is summed up by its title. Buy it.
