The Waiting Review
When this band hit the scene in 1997, nobody
could have predicted that by the time their next CD was released
a year later, they would have 3 number one hits and Dove
and Grammy nominations. Nobody could have predicted that
one of those number one hits would be a nearly 7-minute piece
that features an English horn. However, it's true. This album
is a great addition to any collection. There is a ton of
great music on this disc - from beautiful tunes like "It
Is Enough", "I Am" and (no pun intended) "Beautiful
Blood", to fun upbeat tunes like "Number 9", "Better
Off As Friends" and "Indian Summer", along
with the outstanding "Hands In The Air". The band
has sort of an alternative pop style, and they are extremely
talented. If you're looking for a CD you can listen to over
and over again, and still enjoy it as much each time as you
did the first time you heard it, this is the CD for you.
If you're looking for something that's a mixture of pop and
rock, but not too much of either genre, get this CD. Even
if you don't have a reason, get this CD. You'll be glad you
did.
