Wonderfully Made Review
The Waiting's upbeat pop/rock rarely lets
up for a second on this album... and I love it! Great songs,
with nice twists in the lyrics.
"Everyone I call a friend and even those I don't call" (The
Rest Of The World)
"Like a picture perfect painting every time I look I see
a little more" (A Lot Of Love)
My favourites are the songs that focus
on God and our relationship with him... wait, that's all
of them! Whether it's in praise ("A Thousand Years (Is Not Enough)"), thanksgiving
("What Else Can I Say") or even looking at the
darker side of life ("Sleepless"), a sense of joy
and wonder is carried through on the exuberance of both the
music and of Brad Olsen's vocals.
This is a great CD for listening to on long bike rides,
or just relaxing around the house. Highly recommended!
My picks: "Every Word", "Take Me As I Am", "Wonderfully
Made" and "The Rest Of The World".
