Provident artists garner Grammy nominations

2003-12-07 - Provident Music Group artists garnered a total of nine Grammy nominations this week, dominating the Best Pop / Contemporary Gospel Album category with Michael W. Smith nominated for Worship Again, Jars of Clay recognized for Furthermore, and Third Day with a nod for Offerings II. Tai Anderson (Third Day) commented, 'We've been blown away by the success of the Offerings series, which was a direct request from our fans. These projects have been a huge part of the growth of Third Day over the last few years.' Smith commented, 'It sounds cliché to say 'it's an honor to be nominated,' but it is. I don't really focus on 'winning' this, or any other award. I want to just stay true to what I am called to do.'
