Uprok Signs Three New Artists

2001-06-28 - Hip-hop label Uprok Records signed three artists: LPG, New Breen and Tunnel Rats. Legendary hip-hop crew LPG, featuring the highly-acclaimed skills of Jurny and Theory, are releasing a new record soon. On their debut on Uprok, you'll find intelligent lyrics that challenge the the hip-hop nation to elevate and raise standards. New Breed consists of two members, brother and sister Macho and Elsie, and speaks on many issues of lifte that will connect with a lot of different kinds of people. Hip-hop super-crew Tunnel Rats consists of several groups and solo artists, as well as producers. They roll deep with: LPG, New Breed, Sev Statik, Raphi, Zane, and producer Dert, among others. They always have a distinct edge to their music both in the lyrics and production that seems to be often ahead of its time.
